Winter athletes competing in Quebec’s 13th Pentathlon des Neiges had perfect weather conditions on the second and final weekend of the event. During the races held from February 25 to March 5, amateurs, families and friends took advantage of their Spring Break to participate in the five sports on the Plains of Abraham.

As part of the SLC Reaches Out program of Champlain–St. Lawrence College, from January 3 to the 13, a group of 13 students from CÉGEP Champlain–St. Lawrence, led by Yousra-Imane Benaskeur, took part in a medical, dental, public health and water brigade to Nicaragua with the Global Brigades Organization.

Local auditions for Secondaire en Spectacle, an annual talent show for secondary school students, were held at Quebec High School (QHS) on February 27. Students wanting to show off their particular talents danced, sang and/or played instruments before a panel of four judges.
